In keeping with Morales Week, I’ve got a guest post up on Ollin’s site at {Courage 2 Create}.
Six of you fiction clients brave and true volunteered to be featured in a post on my personal success stories: Kathryn Estrada, Jeffrey Russell, Chris Ryan, Tony Keith, Bhaichand Patel, and Lisa Mercado-Fernandez. Thank you, every one of you. You’re all doing beautiful work, and your stories are an inspiration to every other aspiring writer out there.
Are you listening, the rest of you guys? Shoop on over to Ollin’s blog and find out what it takes to be a success:
Victoria,
I really enjoyed reading your entry on Ollin’s site. For some reason my comment didn’t stick there… so I’m sticking it here instead. Well done. Excellent post. Now… off to write. Practice, practice, practice…
Sorry about that Munk!
His comment was stuck in my spam folder, Victoria. It’s back up now.
No problem, Ollin! Now he’s got a comment in both places.
Thank you, munk! How kind of you to bring your comment back here. I’ll let Ollin know—I’m sure he’ll appreciate your response.
And I’m proud of you for getting right back to work, you bet I am.
Becoming a successful fiction writer isn’t winning a popularity contest.
It’s creating for yourself a permanently higher quality of life.
Thank you Victoria and Ollin for the wonderful interview of authors. You’re right. It’s not about the prize, it’s about the journey. The prize is what you make it.
I know I’m late on here – been busy! But this is a great collection of interviews. I’m all about redefining success. I do want to be published someday, but its far more important to me to become a well rounded, caring and in-touch person. I’m enjoying my successful journey through a writer’s eyes. 🙂
