Abbreviated Developmental Edit
My Developmental Editor offers an abbreviated version of the full Developmental Edit. For a manuscript of up to @80,000 words (for longer works contact us), he writes a single Developmental Letter of approximately 1500-3000 words outlining basic plot structure, character development, and prose issues, identifying specific ways in which to design the most powerful storytelling and techniques for polishing the work into highest quality fiction.
Synopsis Special
My Developmental Editor offers a Developmental Edit for manuscripts in the planning or early draft stages. A Developmental Edit at this stage can save the writer weeks, months, sometimes even years. For an extended synopsis or chapter-by-chapter outline of @6250 words (approximately 25 pages double-spaced), he writes a single Developmental Letter of approximately 750-1000 words outlining basic plot structure and character development issues, identifying specific ways in which to design the most powerful storytelling.
